Salma Hussain is a University of Toronto Scarborough campus student, in her second year. She is doing a double major  in integrative biology and psychology. Art is a hobby and a talent of hers: she won an art award several years ago, but subsequently never took any art classes. She prefers to develop her style on her own time.

As a side project, Hussain started The University of Toronto Art Appreciation Club (UTAAC) this year.  As well, she is the Arts Editor for Ar-Risala, the UTSC Muslim Students' Association newsletter.
