One of the most noted successes of the Muslim Student Association at the University of Toronts is The Muslim Voice— a magazine that is running into its 16th year.  It is both for and by the Muslim students in the university and although it is based in the St. George campus, it boasts both intra- and inter-campus circulation, and is distributed across Toronto and the GTA.

The title says it all: it is the collective voice of the Muslims in the University tri-campus, the outlet for ideas, and the gathering ground for talent.  The Muslim Voice offers students an avenue for intellectual discourse, expression of creativity, and dispelling stereotypes.  Topics revolve around religious beliefs and practice, global and local issues, and academic and career development among others.  The contents of the magazine highlight the intellectual integrity and diversity of young Muslim writers and artists.

Contributions to the magazine are made by UofT students, staff, alumni, students from other university campuses across the GTA, and prominent members of the Muslim community.  The Muslim Voice team consists of students from various academic backgrounds and each individual-- whether they are involved with writing, editing, design, distribution, or promotion— makes a valuable contribution, to create the end result of a professional publication that airs the multifaceted views of the Muslim student body.

If you would like to get involved or submit an article/poem/art to the upcoming March issue of the magazine e-mail tmv@uoftmsa.com.  Let YOUR voice be heard.
