Aga Shirazi recently returned from the Islamic Pilgrimage of Hajj, which is one of the five pillars of being Muslim. The others are Salaat (5x prayers), Zakaat (2.5% charity annually), Saum (Fasting) & Shahada (stating God is one and Muhammad peace be upon him is his messenger).

He had this to say of his travels: "In short, it was a trip like no other. So relaxing and uplifting, that now I feel sad to have left it. The most amazing experience was how we overcame so many hurdles to make the trip happen: like financial and professional constraints, to media-hyped swine flue. Do you know of the 3 million people, only 2 were infected with the virus? We just made the trip because we knew He would take care of his visitors. Please pray that we all get multiple opportunities to visit the holy place, inshallah."
