                      Marc Garneau's Short Film

Our short film sheds light on few of the many occassions in which modesty can be implemented in our lives, in specifically in the lives of muslim youth. We tried to bring forth common situations that none of the youth present here would be alien to, and suggested small yet important ways modesty can be applied.

Modesty is a lantern that sheds in light, without discriminating who its shedding its light upon. We tried to illustrate this phenomenon by showing that one who is modest would treat all persons alike, without discriminating between friends and strangers. In addition, the lantern of modesty would shine within a modest person in such a way that every action of such a being would be comprised of modesty, whether its in dressing, dealing with the opposite genders, greeting people or simply performing an act of charity by offering a helping hand.
